Mark 3 - A Fishkeeper's Diary

This diary documents the events concerning the 220 litre Malawi cichlid tank described on the main Mark 3 page. The tank was initially proposed in 2003, and some work was done building the tank and stand and background. These are detailed elsewhere, so little was entered in the diary for them.

The events of 2004 onwards are detailed in this diary (when I remember to enter them!!)

The few events of 03

Late summer 03

Construction work began on the cupboard for the tank. When the base unit was complete, we bought the tank and sat it on top. After that, construction began on the upper unit. This is all detailed in the tank and stand page.

A bit later in the summer

Work began on the fake rock background. All seemed to go well until the tank was filled with water and we had the Great Background Disaster. Due to a lack of time, not much happened until 2004
